"The sessions were extremely useful for uncovering and examining negative thought patterns... I have developed the skills to identify and manage my acute anxiety, and my quality of life has improved significantly."
With over 15 years of experience working with a diverse range of clients, I offer both open-ended and brief therapy. My clients frequently comment on how I help put them at ease, and they appreciate my honesty and clarity.
I am a member of the BACP - British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy - which means that I follow their ethical framework and work to their professional standards. This, in turn, means that I engage in continuous professional development. I am registered with the BACP which means I am on the list of approved counsellors of the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.
I integrate various approaches to create a unique counselling experience for each client. These include:
This form of therapy focuses on creating an empathic, non-judgemental and honest environment in which clients have the time and space to figure out their next steps for themselves.
A cognitive approach focusing on your interactions with others, aimed at helping you achieve autonomy and freedom from old patterns of thinking and behaviour.
This method focuses on unconscious processes and how they impact our daily lives and relationships.
I incorporate CBT techniques for clients looking for practical strategies to manage anxiety, stress, and other challenges.
I integrate coaching techniques into therapy where appropriate, focusing on personal growth and leadership development. I am also an accredited mediator, helping clients resolve conflicts through psychological awareness.
During our first session, we will discuss what brought you to counselling, what you want to achieve, and how we might work together. I’ll ask questions to understand your situation, your past experiences, and your hopes for the future. If we decide to proceed, we will agree on a number of sessions to start with and schedule regular 50-minute appointments.
Sessions involve exploring your concerns, identifying feelings and thoughts, and discussing what triggers them. I may ask questions to help you gain clarity or suggest techniques such as visualisations or models for understanding interactions.
We’ll work together to make meaningful connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
Sessions take place via video calls using Doxy.
Sessions are available in Bounds Green within easy reach of Muswell Hill, Crouch End, Wood Green, Palmers Green and Southgate
